We’re Committed To

Safety, Fairness & Support

We at Ballinasloe RFC are committed to creating and maintaining the safest, fairest and most supportive environment for the children and youth who play in our club.

We value and encourage the participation of parents, coaches and volunteers, working together to facilitate player development with emphasis on the core IRFU values of Respect, Inclusivity, Integrity, Excellence and Fun.

We acknowledge the need to establish and maintain Safeguarding procedures that meet legislative and our own Club standards.

If you have any questions or queries related to Club Welfare please email: cwo@ballinasloerfc.ie

Our commitment to Safeguarding is achieved through:

Conducting regular risk assessments for any potential harm to children / youths participating in rugby at our Club and ensuring best practice structures and procedures are in place to minimise risks identified.

Having dedicated Club Welfare Officers reporting to the Club Committee and promoting Welfare initiatives.

Ballinasloe RFC is pleased to announce that the Club has established a Covid-19 Safety Committee who have been working hard with committee members over the past number of weeks to prepare for the Club to Return to Rugby under the guidance of the IRFU.
