LED Lighting Upgrade
The official switching on of Ballinasloe RFC’s LED Lighting upgrade on our training pitch took place tonight at the Club. The immediate benefit was seen this evening with three teams training in the background including the Senior team who are preparing for their J1C League Final v Ballyhaunis.
Ballinasloe Rugby Club would like to thank Ger Reynolds Electrical and Hugh Daly Construction who completed the project.
The Club would also like to acknowledge and thank Galway County Council who awarded Ballinasloe RFC €6931.12 in grant aid under the Climate Action Opportunity Fund 2021.
The provision of LED Lighting on the training pitch and car park Lighting will have a positive environmental impact on our Carbon footprint. We fully support Ballinasloe Town Team’s sustainable energy goals to become a leading urban sustainable community. We believe that our initiative will inspire other clubs and associations in the Ballinasloe area to take part in sustainable projects.
From all at Ballinasloe RFC we would like to say a BIG Congratulations to Matthew Devine who scored the 3rd try of the 6 nations championship against England on March 12th.
Well done Matthew…
